| How do I import a song
from an audio CD? FlexiMusic Wave Editor
needs help of another program to import a track from an audio CD. You can use a program like
CDex
to extract CD tracks into a format that FlexiMusic Wave Editor can read,
like Wav or Mp3.
To Install CDex:
1. Download a copy of the
CDex file. Use below link to download and install.

2. When the browser
ask you, Choose Save instead of Run. Save your download to an easy to
remember folder on your computer.
3. Go to the place where
you saved it on your computer "cdex_v......exe" and double-click on
it, or choose and use the enter key to run it. This will install CDex on your computer.
Copying a song with
CDex:
4. When you are done
installing it, Open the program by clicking Start > All Programs > CDex >
CDex. Put your Audio CD in your computer's CD-ROM.
5. Use the menu Options >
Settings, then choose the Filenames tabs, Under Output Filename format type
%4 , Under Recorded Tracks browse or type the target folder name
(this is the folder where the cd tracks will be saved). Click Ok button.
6. Now select one (or
more) tracks from the track list. You can select tracks by clicking on the
tracks; to select more than one track, hold down the CTRL key while
clicking.
7. Next, click on Convert
> Extract CD Tracks to Wav files. A new window will pop up showing you the
status as each track/song is ripped (copied) to your computer.
Editing a song in
FlexiMusic Wave Editor:
8. In FlexiMusic Wave
Editor use the command Menu > File > Open, Go to the folder that you set in output options of CDex, you will find your newly ripped/copied tracks
(as file) there. Select a file and go ahead and play or edit them on your
computer using FlexiMusic Wave Editor.
