How to save the total song of 3 hours 30 minutes and get the entire song onto a CD?

FlexiMusic Wave Editor supports only up to 2000MB.

While recording a file set the time to stop few MB before 2000MB.

If the song file format is 44100Hz, 16bit, Stereo (format for writing to CD) it can make upto 3 hrs 15 minutes. If you try to create a file more than this it will create error. It is also advisable to close the smaller files before saving the large file.

The total capacity of the CD is 780 to 800mb that is 80 minutes. Keep the file to 75 minutes for recording to CD. You need to split the file into three pieces.

Open the file in FlexiMusic Wave Editor and select the first part of 75 minutes and use the Save Selected command (File > Save Selected), give the file name as track1 save your file to an easy to remember folder on your computer. Similarly select the second and third part and save the part as track2 and track3.

This is the formula for calculating the file size:
File size in bytes = (Duration in seconds) x (Sampling rate) x (bits per sample / 8) x (no of channels). No of channels = 2 for stereo, 1 for mono.

If you are recording using this formats
