| How to split a song into
many pieces line by line? (many sections)
FlexiMusic Wave Editor can
split a song into many pieces using Bookmarks.
Bookmarks
are used to mark a small section of an audio (with a Name, or a Number
and/or a Remark to be saved with the bookmark) to reuse later. Bookmarks are
displayed as color mountains below the waveform. It can be reused for
selecting, viewing, saving, and playing. Bookmark display can be put ON or
OFF using Menu > Bookmark > Show Bookmark.
1. Open the song.
2. Make bookmark to mark
line by line. Select part of a sound with mouse.
3. Play and
hear that part using Play Selected tool button.
4. Use Add Selection (Menu > Bookmark > Add Selection) or click the Add Selection
button at the top.
Note:
The easiest way to add a bookmark is to
select using the mouse
and press "B".
5. The Add New Bookmark
window will open. While adding a Bookmark and you should fill in your own
custom values in the Name, Remark, and check the Type and Positioning are correctly selected.
6. Like this you can make
many bookmarks of one song into line by line.
7. When you are finished
choose “Save Bookmarked Parts” from the File menu. When you
click the “Save Bookmarked Parts”, FlexiMusic Wave Editor will save each
bookmarked audio to separate file, using the format and location you choose.
