How do I combine two audio files into one longer file (one song after the other).

In FlexiMusic Wave Editor use "Paste-Insert" command to do this. This command enables you to take two different sound files and join them into one sound file.

Let's assume you would like to combine two sound files violin.wav and chord.wav

1. Open both files in FlexiMusic Wave Editor. Use the top tabs to switch between the files.

2. Check the format for both files, make it same if they are different using the format menu (Menu > File > Format).

3. Switch to "chord.wav" window, Use Select All command to select the whole file, and copy the selected part using Copy Selected (Menu > Edit > Copy Selected).

4. With the chord sound in the Clipboard, switch to other window (violin.wav), Place the cursor on the position you want the joining to start (i.e. at the end of the violin file) and click on the waveform for making one point selection, then use the command Paste-Insert (Menu > Edit > Paste-Insert).

5. You can press the Play button to hear the result, and use the Save commands (in the File menu) to save.

6. To save your combined file, it is safer to save the file using the "Save As" command giving the file a new name.

Like this you can also add more then two files into one longer file.
