| How do I record Internet
audio from WinAmp or Stream audio?
1. Run the FlexiMusic Wave
Editor.
2.
Use the File > New command to
create a new file. For CD quality recording, use stereo, 16 bits and a
sampling rate of 44100Hz.

Click on the screen once to
select the position where you would insert the recorded wave sound.
4. Click the Record button
(the red circle) on the tool button. This will open the Record window.
5. Choose Stereo Mix
device or the equivalent, in the Recording Source drop
down list. Click on "Volume" button to open the "Recording
Source Volume Control" window, and then adjust the volume for Stereo Mix to
the highest possible performance.
6. In Recording Source
Volume Control window, Click "Show Others" button you might see other devices, such as
CD-Player or Microphone, in the volume control panel, uncheck all
non-essential devices, this cuts down background noise. (Remember to put it
back "ON" after you finish recording).
7. Now
start the playback of the WinAmp or the stream audio from Internet and click
the "Start" button in Record Audio window of FlexiMusic
Wave Editor. If necessary,
Adjust the volume
setting by seeing the levels of the volume going up an down on the vertical
white bar, of your voice being recorded.
8. You can
pause the process of recording by clicking the "Pause" button any
time you want and then resume it by clicking the "Continue" button.
9. When
you want to stop recording, just click "Stop" button, Click "Done"
button to finish recording and the destination sound file is there.
10. To save
your recording, click the File menu and choose Save command. |
