How to set my computer to start recording at a certain time?

Yes, this can be done with FlexiMusic Wave Editor. In the recording window, set the time and durations in the Advanced Options.

1. Run the FlexiMusic Wave Editor.

2. Use the File > New command to create a new file. For CD quality recording, use stereo, 16 bits and a sampling rate of 44100Hz.

3. Click on the screen once to select the position where you would insert the recorded wave sound.

4. Click the Record button (the red circle) on the tool button. This will open the Record window.

5. Before Recording, Make sure to select the appropriate input device in which you are going to record. Choose the device, in the Recording Source drop down list. Click on "Volume" button to open the "Recording Source Volume Control" window, and then adjust the volume for the highest possible performance.

6. In the Advanced Options, select (check mark) the options "Start recording at __" & "Stop after recording for __".

7. To start recording automatically, Set the time at which the recording should start in the "Start recording at" using the following format time:hour:minute:second (hh:mm:ss) in 24 hour clock format. (For example 9:30 AM will be written as 09:30:00 and 7:40 PM will be written as 19:40:00.).

8. To stop the recording automatically after a certain amount time has passed set duration in "Stop after recording for" Enter the time in the following format: hour:minute:second (hh:mm:ss) and you may even use the format of mm:ss for just minutes:seconds. (For example if you are recording for a half an hour will be written as 30:00)

9. Once you have set the options correctly it will start the recording automatically and stop the recording after certain durations. When you return your recording is waiting for you.

10. Click "Done" button to insert the recording  into the file at the position you previously selected.

11. Once you have completed the recording, select the required portions only and use the Trim command (Edit > Trim) to deletes any unused audio.

12. Listen to the recording by pressing the Play button.

13. To save your recording, click the File menu and choose Save command.
